I work with parents, children aged 3-17, families and adult individuals, offering therapy tailored to each client’s needs.
Where, when, and how do we work together?
I offer limited in-person sessions in Manahawkin, and/or virtual therapy for clients in New Jersey. Telehealth sessions are conducted via a secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms. Ecotherapy takes place through Ocean County, NJ at an agreed upon location.
What is your specialty?
I specialize in child-centered play therapy, Sand Play therapy, nature-based interventions, EMDR/Flash Technique and Perinatal/Postpartum Support. I specialize in perinatal mental health and perinatal loss, serving those impacted by postpartum depression and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders along with infertility. Through my background in nature-based interventions, my work is rooted in the belief that the natural world alongside our inner landscapes hold the potential to heal, restore balance, and offer clarity. By integrating nature-based practices with various therapeutic techniques, I help individuals reconnect with themselves no matter their age or phase of life.
Do you work with children?
Over the past 12 years, I have had the privilege of working with children as young as age 3 to express themselves through play and find their voice while trusting themselves during the process. I have extensive experience supporting children and adolescents with anxiety, depression, grief, self-harm, body-image issues, behavioral patterns, neurodivergence, abuse histories and the challenges of belonging and friendship. While working with children and adolescents, I have helped those facing a variety of behavioral and emotional concerns. I have consulted with school districts to help children with mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression and ADHD. I have supported students with autism spectrum disorders, academic/social impairment, physical/learning disabilities, communication disorders and conduct disorders. I am able to provide advocacy and support for your child if they are presently attending school with an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or 504 Plan.
